Craving for Peace

It seems peace has gained extinction from the face of the earth. Discord has gripped every home, unrest among brothers, in the neighborhood, between states, countries, leaders is rife. Everyone is up in arms as though set to win a wanton battle. O God, where has the peace gone.

All reputed religious organizations, erudite are expatiating on peace. The cry of ‘I Want Peace’ is renting the air. But alas man is falling to succeed in the quest for peace. With the gradual passing of days it seems peace is being transported to oblivion and instead unrest, disharmony has spread its tentacles through out the globe.

Why did such a phenomenon occur? Peace has evanesced from the world. Is there no means by which we can respite from such a phenomenon? Have we ever pondered as to who is the creator of all this unrest? Do the animals, trees, stones, earth, rivers, sky, air ever create any dissensions? No, they remain the same as they were in the past, because they possess true religious orientation. Each of them bears a strong fidelity to their roots. They have not created several religions; they have not been envious towards their own species. A tiger does not kill another tiger; a snake does not bite its own Kith and Kin; they also posses malice but do not apply it on their own species. But man is entirely different from all that he inheres his total creation. God has imparted immense intelligence and power to man, but the result- man treats the earth with a contemptuous air. The consequence of this is man is responsible for fragmenting Dharma into several religions; he has fallen into the snare of rivalry having deviated from the dharma emanating from the absolute, that which inheres the infinite creation. They harbor malice towards their own race. Not only has this, but also the spectrum of malice, self interest and all such vices gained an enlargement in man’s vision. Subsequently peace is removed far from life. The present generation is far removed from human lives. The present generation strives to fleece the maximum from nature and reap the consequences. Man is now besotted with cult of enjoyment.

Restless man frantically craving for peace flocks to renowned religious leaders and seeks their advice. Hence religious leaders throughout the world are imparting innumerable suggestions for obtaining peace. Yet peace is far removed because in the lives of those reputed souls peace has gained a backseat. Thus who will impart peace to whom and who will derive peace?

Actually the present generation has forgotten the source of peace. All are endeavoring to attain peace through external factors. None posses the acumen for observing the inner realm. The existence of the inner realm has been relegated to oblivion by man. The source of peace is that inner realm which is also termed ‘Prana’. Barring Prana, both peace and unrest cannot exist. None talk about Prana, but god the master of the infinite creation having created this has established Prana-Dharma within it. Barring man, all that inheres the total creation have not in the least deviated from the god emanating Prana-Dharma.

Man has segregated himself from that all persuasive Prana-Dharma and has acknowledged several religions, the religion of malice, anger, intolerance as the essence of human life. For this reason man today is plunged into the depths of sorrow. He has dug his own grave.

Iam a human being, you also are human beings therefore I love the human race, prana-dharma established by god inhering the total creation is my love. Thus my sole appeal to the restless man is – you have suffered the pangs of jealously enough, been driven by vicissitudes of self interest enough, now let us come together and forgetting all these deep routed ills, we will reestablish the god emanating prana-dharma in this beautiful world. It is only then we will retrieve the eternal peace in our own lives, own families, in each neighborhood, village, town, locality, city, country, in short “in totality”.
